The year we were founded! From one office in the Netherlands to a worldwide network spanning 30+ offices across 50+ countries, NMT’s story is one of steady growth, global connections, and a passion for making RoRo shipping seamless everywhere.
Singapore
We set sail into Southeast Asia with NMT Singapore PTE Ltd. our very first overseas expansion!
Dubai & Belgium
Double the growth! Opened NMT International Shipping LLC in Dubai, the gateway to the Middle East, and NMT Belgium BVBA in Antwerp, right in the heart of Europe.
Spain & Scandinavia
Hola, España! We expanded into Alicante, Barcelona & Valencia with NMT International Shipping España S.L. Meanwhile, Scandinavia joined the network with NMT Scandinavia AB in Gothenburg.
India & UK
We launched offices in Mumbai & Chennai, welcoming NMT Shipping Pvt Ltd. and hopped over to the UK with Southampton, Sheerness, and Ireland joining the map as NMT International Shipping UK Ltd.
Jordan
NMT Jordan opened in Amman as part of our regional expansion, reinforcing our commitment to the Middle East and enhancing our ability to serve partners and clients across the region.
Korea
Annyeong, Korea! With great enthusiasm, we set up NMT International Shipping Korea Inc. in Seoul!
USA
Hello, America! Our US journey began with offices in St. Petersburg (FL) and Elizabeth (NJ), introducing NMT USA Inc.
Germany & France
A European triple hit! Opened NMT Deutschland GmbH in Bremen and NMT France SARL in Marseille & Paris - a huge year for Europe!

G’day, Oceania! We touched down in Brisbane, Fremantle & Melbourne with NMT Oceania PTY Ltd, a great triple threat!
Sutcliffes Maritime UK - Joined the NMT Group
In May of 2012, we warmly welcomed Sutcliffes Maritimes into the NMT Group, begining our exciting journey of our current 'Four Brands, One Team' operation!
China & New Zealand
Coming in fast with NMT China Co., Ltd. opening in Shanghai, and then NMT Oceania NZ Ltd. in Auckland joined the network.

In the year of 2019, NMT was offically acquired by Stena AB, one of Swedens largest family-owned companies.
