Cargo knowledge is something you understandably obtain when working in RoRo shipping. However, once in a while one might be confronted with names and cargo not that common. NMT Scandinavia had that feeling a while back when one of their clients to offer a transport solution for a Ropa euro-Manus 4 to be shipped to Alexandria. 

The ROPA euro-Maus 4 is a self-propelled cleaner loader for sugar beet with a wide pick-up system. For road drive the complete machine folds in automatically with just one operating element in the cabin. The large wheel base of 5.50 m combined with two hydraulically sprung additional axles guarantees safe handling of the extremely robust loader.

The Ropa euro-Maus 4 was located just outside Rostock. Using experienced partners, we transported the unit by road to Antwerp. Reporting the cargo into ACI (advanced cargo information) before loading, we shipped the unit by RoRo safely to Alexandria and its new life in the Land of the Pyramids.
