Announcement: Strategic Cooperation to Develop the Used Cargo Segment
Published: 21-12-2009UECC has recently agreed a strategic cooperation for the development of the non contract segment with the NMT group,
one of Europe's largest Roll-on / Roll-off shipping companies.
NMT mainly focuses on used cars, trucks, trailers and other self-propelled machinery.
They have 80 employees around the world in major ports and at locations where used machinery is traded, often at auctions.
With their international network they have secured a leading position within the RoRo industry.
As of 1st January 2010, NMT will be the European booking channel for NON CONTRACT CARGO.
The agreement covers all continental load ports and all UECC trade lanes.
With NMT, UECC have now teamed up with one of the major players in the RoRo second-hand business, having the necessary market knowledge and an aggressive attitude to develop this cargo segment together with UECC.
UECC is one of the larger short sea carriers in Europe of which you can find their trade lanes and schedules as of the 1st January on the NMT website
